What is ICF Construction?

Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) represent the future of construction technology, combining superior strength, energy efficiency, and durability in one innovative system.

How ICF Works

ICF construction uses hollow foam blocks or panels that are stacked to form the shape of concrete walls. These forms are made from expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam and remain in place permanently after concrete is poured, providing continuous insulation.

Steel reinforcement bars (rebar) are placed within the forms before concrete is poured, creating a reinforced concrete wall sandwiched between two layers of high-performance insulation. This creates a monolithic structure that's incredibly strong and energy-efficient.

The result is a wall system that combines the structural strength of reinforced concrete with the thermal performance of continuous insulation, eliminating thermal bridging common in traditional construction methods.
